Thursday: September 16, 2004

Augh, I've turned into such a horrible webmistress!! >.<  If I am to give excuses as to why I've neglected any updates to this site part of it would be that school has started up for me (Senior Year!! :D).  The other part would consist of forgetfulness and little bit of laziness.  But then I guess that's me for ya. :)

Anyway, how are all of ya'll? Good I hope.  Actually no, not good.  I hope you're feeling GRRREEEAAAATTT!!!! Tony the Tiger, baby. ;)

Alright so what do I have for you fine folks today? Well I bare the gift of. . .

THE RAVER J STORE  

Yes, at long last it's finally here!! Though I'll say right now it's NOTHING like I wanted it to be -- my dream vision is a totally custom shop that's run by me -- but for right now this will have to do.

I know this is going to sound silly but the only things that you cannot purchase right now in the store is the actual comic.  I know, I know. . . what kind of a nerd doesn't post it's comic book it's trying to sell up on it's eShop but there's a good reason! The only merchandise I can sell on this particular website are items that they offer me.  And Raver J comic books aren't one of them.  So I totally promise this weekend I'll create some sort of e-mail form device thingy that you can fill out which will act as a submission for an order of the comic.

For now though I hope you enjoy the eShop! :)

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates.  My computer totally crashed on me from what we think was a virus in one of my music CDs I was burning files from.  So for the past couple of weeks I've been sadly stranded from my computadora. :( 

'Twas a very sad time for me. *sniff sniff* I actually started cleaning my room, that's how crazy I was going. haha :P

Anyway, my computer's back up and running beautifully.  According to my Dad (who had to buy me a whole new hard drive >.<), my computer is now twice as fast and can store 4x more than it used to.  SWEET. :) 

Buuuut. . . (there's always a catch). . . all my programs that were on my old hard drive have been lost, which includes my image editor---Paint Shop Pro 7.  And, of course, I can't find the CD for it. -_-;;

So for the time being I can only update text.  This also means I must ask all of you to post-pone any picture submissions (though I think we've pretty much have all of them by now---thanks guys!!! :D).

I'll be working on the eShop this week, and will hopefully have it up by the weekend.  Though as a pre-warning, I have to use some stupid site builder for it.  So disregard it not looking as Raver J-ish as the rest of the site.

Wow. . . the Photo Gallery just keeps growing more and more every day! Thanks SO much to everyone whose submitted in pictures! You guys rock!! :D

Well, I'm working on getting the eShop up but I'm having a little difficulty.  Besides the frustration of not being able to customize the thing we paid for I also don't know how many of what item to order!

I've made several designs for apparel but according to every silk-screening place I've looked into, I have to order a MINIMUM quantity of 50 for EACH clothing item.  But how can I do this when I don't even know if people will buy them?

This is where YOU come in!

Help me help you by telling me which design you like and/or would buy if available.  Just go to the Merchandise section of our site and take my polls I've created.  If I get AT LEAST 50 votes for whatever item I'll put it up in the shop!

Your vote also helps OPEN the eShop, which means no more sleepless nights waiting to have a copy of the Limited Edition black n' white version of issue #1 (which we still have copies of!). ^_~
