SHERO FEST
Inspired by DURGA-KALI and CHAITRA (March) NAVARATRI 2023
TAPPING INTO OUR SPIRITUAL SUPERHERO SELVES
Shero Fest is a celebration of the Shero archetype of the Goddess.
It is, as well, an exploration of Human potential.
Shero Fest is hosted by tantrika JIVANA (creatrix of Raver J).
Teachings will mostly be inspired by the cultures of India, classical non-dual Shaivism,
and Egyptian Mysteries and their goddess pantheon.
Praise to all forms of the Goddess in every culture.
The timing of Shero Fest is directly inspired by the
March Navaratri celebrations of Goddess Durga.
DURGA is one of the most beloved of all Sheroes and Goddesses of India.
She is celebrated traditionally with a 9 night or 10 day celebration.
Exact dates are known to vary according to each province.
The annual Shero Fest, will be observed regularly starting on Equinox and running for 10 days.
Themed offerings will extend from March 21st to March 31st every year.
Each day traditionally honors a different aspect of Durga.
Although teachings may incorporate modern sheroes and the Goddess archetype in other cultures (especially the Egyptian culture), in the spirit of Navaratri will Shero Fest thematically follow.
Navaratri is a time to study Her stories and lessons,
observe fasts,
perform puja (worship) rituals,
sing devotional songs,
create art and altars,
visit temples or sacred sites to express gratitude for or seek
blessings from the Goddess.
Shero Fest will kick off with two pre-quel offerings followed by
a daily online satsang and the Shero Fest daily breath challenge (details to follow)

The third day is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta, who represents courage and bravery. The color to wear on this day is White.

The sixth day is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani, who is known for her fierce form. The color to wear on this day is Yellow. Satsang + Shero Fest breath challenge.
DAY 7 Aspect Kalaratri

The seventh day is dedicated to Goddess Kalaratri, who represents power and strength. The color to wear on this day is Green. Satsang + Shero Fest breath challenge.

The 8th day is related to the Goddess Mahgauri. A day of Peacock green. Satsang + Shero Fest breath challenge.
Day 9 Siddhidatri

The ninth day is dedicated to Goddess Siddhidatri, who is believed to possess all the eight siddhis (supernatural powers). The color to wear on this day is Purple. Satsang + Shero Fest breath challenge.
